INTEL CPU

At the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, Intel and explain all the specific details of the new Intel CPU Core DI3, i5 and i7 second generation, known by the code name of Sandy Bridge. The new family of CPUs produced by the giant Santa Clara, California, includes 29 processors for desktop and notebook systems.

Some of the key features of Intel's Sandy Bridge are already known. At the base of the new processor micro architecture is the new "smart visibly" made with 32-nanometer manufacturing process and characterized by the integration of the graphics processor directly into the INTEL CPU die. A solution developed to enable resource sharing among the GPU and the processor core, with the ultimate aim of implementing performance in graphics and computing and also ensure maximum energy efficiency.

The Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 integrate the second generation also implemented a version of the Turbo Boost technology and Hyper-Threading. It is also the first Intel CPU that supports the instructions AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions).

Among other features, we point out our Quick Sync Video acceleration for decoding and transcending of video, and Intel Wireless Display (Widi 2.0). Intel Widi 2.0 will allow users to wirelessly send multimedia content, including high-definition video, to a Full HD TV and play it on the screen of images, videos and audio tracks stored on your PC. The new Intel Core Second Generation, finally, support the technologies Intel CPU Clear Video and intrusion 3D HD.
