New information on the amd cpu roadmap and APU, which plans to introduce during the year 2012 were published. Over the next year will see the debut of the first APU built with 28-nanometer production technology: we refer to the known solutions with the code name of Krishna and Wichita.

In the mid-market segment will continue to see amd cpu roadmap, products made with 32-nanometer production technology, in which case the production will be entrusted to GLOBALFOUNDRIES, while it is still unclear whether the same will happen with the process to 28 nanometers, or if production will be given the Taiwanese TSMC. In the top of the line segment of the market will continue to see proposals from AMD APU but traditional CPU architectures.
