How To Install PCI SLOT

On this motherboard PCI slots are highlighted where they will be embedded sound cards, internal modems, TV cards, network etc..
This type of bus is designed to meet allla narrowness of the bandwidth that allowed the old ISA slots, it comes with bandwidth ranging from 32 to 64-bit operating frequency that can be 33 MHz (about 132MB/sec max) or 66MHz .
Let's say that in principle on a motherboard of the last generation on average there are 4 PCI slots and one AGP which we will discuss later.
These slots are very important, since they give the opportunity to mount any PCI card compatible with any motherboard equipped with this bus, and this is what underlies the concept of compatibilità.Come said slots are mounted on these cards as compatible for example that we see in this picture.

In case this is a sound card as you can see from Jack in blue, red and green, and goes through the connector stuck in the slot above. The above operation is very simple, because if you have already placed the motherboard into the case you will need to remove the strip of metal that is opposite the slot you have chosen, place the connector on the slot and press until it is penetrated in full. To see the way you just keep in mind that the doors have to go outside of the case and that the connector has a cut on the right side and that perfectly mirrors the shape of the PCI slot.
