INTEL PENTIUM CPU P6100 | 2GHz clock

The Intel Pentium CPU P6100 is a low-end laptop. It has a 2 GHz clock and doesn't support TurboBoost for automatic overclocking. In addition, AES and the instructions are disabled hyperthreading. The CPU supports Enhanced Speedstep, but there may be other energy-saving features disabled (as is the case for the series Penryn - Intel Pentium).

Compared to the Celeron P4600, P6100 offers a slightly better performance due to the faster system bus and the increase of Level 3 cache. However, there is the VT-x on the P6100.

The P6100 is based on Arrandale CPUs and therefore contains an integrated memory controller and a graphics card Intel Graphics HD (both made in 45nm, 32nm CPU in). The graphics card also known as GMA in HD 500MHz CPU has a clock and is able to overclock up to 766MHz with the Turbo Boost (GPU only).

CPU performance are relatively low, due to limited clock rate and the absence of Turbo Boost and Hyperthreading. However, the performance should be slightly better than GHz Core 2 Duo clocked at similar, due to the integrated memory controller.
